Sylvanian Families Party Last November!

Last Nov. 28, we (me and my mom) attended the Sylvanian Families party. I was only informed by my boyfriend about this event and he didn't know what time it will start. So to be sure, we were there at around 10:45 in the morning and the mall is still closed.. Yeah that's how excited we were. Luckily, I do not have work on Saturdays (thank God!) and my mom sneaked out our shop just to attend this event.

Today I dropped by to see that they have these two vintage SF families! I think the best time of the week to visit HappyToys is Friday. All the people are friendly there during Fridays. =)

New Sylvanian Families stocks!

Yesterday I went to see Planet 51 animated  movie at Rockwell Power Plant Mall. On my way there I happen to pass by the largest Kids Station that I know of.. They replenished their stocks with the latest Sylvanian items!!!

My JP Sylvanian Figures from slashed stores

Last week and past few weeks I have been very busy looking for cheaper Sylvanian Family figures.. Although I am always few minutes late in spotting a store that sells those figues, I still manage to snatch some items...

The Slab is Up

We put some concrete "path way" slab to the scene. I think i have to add more grass to the sides.. I will try to drop by at some craft shops this weekend. The christmas decor at the door was made by my mom. I think she's the one whose more excited than I am about this new toy. All of the inner house furnishings is and will be made by her while I do the outside trees and grass including these slabs. It took me half an hour to cut this up. *whew*

By the way, we bought these two figures recently the shoes and bag of Orcher brother dog are separately bought from local toy shop.

No More Toys!

After ages of researching regarding Speedtech company.. I finally managed to get hold of their office number. I asked the lady whether they have Sylvanian Items in their bodega but she said it is phased-out already. I don't know whether she knows what I'm asking or not but i do hope the will still have some stocks.. *sigh* so no more "slashed-price" JP Sylvanian items for me i guess...and SF fanatics would have to wait a year or so for Bankee to have these items on sale if they still have it.

My Mini Sylvanian Collection

After weeks of going crazy over Sylvanian items, I managed to buy a Willow Hall House and furnitures. At first I only bought the garden set so I can individually display them in 1:24 cases.. but then our (me and my mom) addiction grew.. and finally when there's a sale discount last October we managed to buy the whole set... and we also have a customized case for the whole Willow Hall House to fit in. I think the dimensions of this case is similar to what we see in the Sylvanian display case at the mall...
